We are not Alone

Referring to yesterday’s post, I want to talk to/about other people living with cerebral palsy. I truly want to create a place for conversation, a place where we can help and encourage one another.

Yesterday, I found a picture of a young man, Simon Stevens who is living and working with CP. I went to his site and left him a short message. I am hoping we hear more about both his challenges and accomplishments.

In addition, I checked out his blogroll, to see if he has found information, or contacted other individuals that might be beneficial to us. I came across this short video:

In truth, I am sad to report that some things have not changed in the 50 years I have been living with cerebral palsy. Kids are still being teased and misunderstood. Yet, they are also persevering and doing their best to live life to the fullest, despite the challenges of living with a disability.
