Eating Well
Eating well isn’t simply about going on a diet, losing weight, and then going back to the same old eating habits. If you want to lose weight and keep it off, it must be a lifestyle change. You need to learn to eat well for a lifetime.
I have been asked how I have lost weight, even though I am in a wheelchair. The documents on this page are the ones I received from a dietitian at my local hospital. Some have notes specific to me, because I have Crohns Disease, which means I cannot usually tolerate dairy products or raw fruits and vegetables.
Breakfast can be replaced with a bottle of Ensure or the generic equivalent.
Also, this diet is for women. So, men need to add 300-500 calories.
